We began working with Margot Friedlander in late 2012 when making the move from our parents’ houses to our first apartment. On a Sunday night when browsing apartments online, Margot responded to our inquiry within minutes, giving us a call right away to introduce herself, assess our needs, and learn our interests.
We truly had no idea then how lucky we’d gotten, because Margot went on to help us apartment hunt two more times (once when we never even ended up moving as we ultimately decided to renew our lease) and helped us find our first home. We could not be more grateful for the time we’ve spent getting to know her and working with her over the years.
Margot works tirelessly to ensure that her clients are getting their needs met — from finding out exactly what you are looking for down to every must-have item, she has always offered helpful suggestions way beyond the scope of what we’d expect from a realtor. The time and respect she gives each client has truly touched our hearts in ways that words can’t adequately express.
Anyone that is lucky enough to work with Margot — whether in renting an apartment or buying a home — is working with someone who will do anything she can to make her clients happy. She is quick to make appointments, thorough in the questions she asks and the back-end work she does, and never bats an eye at any crazy requests. We should know — she probably drove to every town in Westchester County with us over the course of six years, and she was always gracious and accommodating to our schedules, even on nights and weekends.
We put her through the wringer, but from numerous apartments, nearly two dozen houses, and a few different leases, she always reassured us that we’d find the perfect place. She worked with us through some tough and stressful situations when it came to buying our first home. We were beat out on the first house we truly felt in love with and ultimately decided to withdraw our offer after completing an inspection on another home. Again, Margot encouraged us to remain positive and helped us stay focused in a tough market. We were extremely nervous about buying our first home and we had so many questions, but Margot was always available to answer and explain without any real estate jargon. We can’t thank her enough for all she’s given us.
Margot is not only warm and lovely, but she is honest and works only with the utmost integrity and professionalism. We hope to be in our first home for a very long time, but she’d be the first person we’d call if we ever decided to sell. We would recommend her to anyone no matter where they are in the real estate process — she is the very best around.
